I stayed at the George Frederic Handel Hotel on 1.3. - 6.3.2012 (d.m.yr) All staff were really friendly and breakfast was great!! I stayed at the 1st floor and could hear the bells of Christ Church Cathedral to my room. I got somewhat use to it quite soon though. And it really wasnt an issue, because I didnt spend that much time in the room anyways. Room was quite cold, partly because of single glass windows i guess. Also the heater (on the wall) was cold, thermostat didnt seem to work. But this wasnt an issue either, because like I said, I didnt spend that much time in there. And besides, the bed and especially the blanket, was great, it was sooo comfy and thick. Location of the hotel was good. Temple Bar area and shopping streets were in walking distance.

The highlight is the excellent breakfast served in a well appointed dining room. The hotel provides basic comforts at a reasonable price on weekdays. I do not know the weekend rates. The location,across from Christ's Church and adjacent to the Temple Bar area, is very convenient. Also close to airport bus stop and that for hop on, hop off tour buses.

Quick check in, room was nice & quite big. it's location is fab near temple bar & vicar street which is where we wanted to go. Only a five mins walk from Christchurch Carpark to the hotel. The area was quiet & the cathedral bells did not disturb our sleep as i'd heard from previous reviews. Will most definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Dublin.
